About Amicalola Falls State Park

Amicalola Falls State Park is a park in Georgia. The recreation center's name is gotten from a Cherokee dialect word signifying "tumbling waters".The recreation center is home to Amicalola Falls, a 729-foot waterfall that is the most noteworthy in Georgia. It is thought to be one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. A 8-mile trail that breezes past Amicalola Falls and prompts Springer Mountain, well known as the southern end of the Appalachian Trail, starts in the recreation center. Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge has four gatherings of trails inside it, including the trail paving the way to the highest point of the waterfall. The recreation center has a full-time staff of stop officers, and has a hotel that fills in as a beginning stage of Appalachian Trail climbers.
