Gales Pond County Park

Gale's Pond is four miles southeast of Hart. There is a nature trail of about a half-mile that encompasses the lake. This stop is a little fortune with quality plant material along the trail, great birdwatching, and a cookout zone. Portrayal is counter-clockwise, start at the stopping zone. Leave the little stopping zone toward the south on promenade which slips tenderly to lake level.

There the promenade turns east and crosses a cattail bog and two bay streams at the south end of the lake. Once over, the footpath closes and the trail turns north along the east shore. Proceed on characteristic surface toward the north end of the lake. Traverse another delta river. This zone is at times sloppy and the west end of the scaffold might be extremely wet.
