The Frank Church—River of No Return Wilderness Area is a secured wild territory in Idaho. It was made in 1980 by the United States Congress and renamed in 1984 as the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness Area out of appreciation for U.S. Representative Frank Church. At 2.367 million sections of land 9,580 km2, it is the biggest adjoining governmentally overseen wild in the United States outside of Alaska, which is second in zone just to the touching territory of the state-oversaw Adirondack Park in upstate New York, which contains approximately 46% of its state-oversaw zone of 9,375 square miles 24,281 km2. as wild parkland. The Death Valley Wilderness is the biggest single assigned zone however comprises of ious disengaged units. The wild secures a few mountain ranges, broad natural life, and a famous whitewater boating stream: the Salmon River.
