About Foster Botanical Garden
Foster Botanical Garden was built up in 1853 and passed on to the City of Honolulu as an open garden in 1930. Today it is recorded on the National Register of Historic Places. Specifically compelling is the Prehistoric Glen with its plants and cycads. Different territories incorporate the Lyon Orchid Garden, the most established area known as the Main Terrace, the Butterfly Garden, the Economic Garden of herbs and flavors, the sprouting orchid show in the Orchid Conservatory, and ious "outstanding trees" which are spread all through the property.
