Fort Lowell
About Fort Lowell
Fort Lowell was a United States Army present dynamic on the edges of Tucson, Arizona. Post Lowell was the successor to Camp Lowell, a prior Army installation.Fort Lowell is another Arizona Historical Society property. Situated on the northeastern edges of town, it's an all around saved nineteenth century fortress that saw genuine activity amid the brutal and important Apache Wars. The historical center itself is housed in the old bosses' quarters. For such a little space, there's a shockingly rich gathering of military antiquities here. Swing by on your way up to Mount Lemmon or Saguaro National Park – it's free, all things considered.
