Fort King George
About Fort King George
Much like Fort George in Trinidad, this peak stronghold blends staggering sea and city sees with measurements of Tobago's military and provincial history. Worked after the French caught Tobago from the British in 1781, this military compound was controlled by the French until the point that 1793 when it was recovered by the British. Inside Fort King George, voyagers can investigate the jail and officers' chaos, and also the curious Tobago Museum situated within the previous dormitory guardhouse. The Tobago Museum highlights weapons and pre-Columbian ancient rarities found in Scarborough close by old Tobago maps and photos. Outside of the notable structures, guests can discover a few standards and sweeping perspectives of Scarborough Bay.
