About Fort George Island Cultural State Park

Situated on Fort George Island around three miles south of Little Talbot Island State Park, Fort George Island State Cultural State Park offers an assortment of energizing things to see and do. Developed in 1928 as a selective winter resort and used as a guest's inside that can be enlisted out for exceptional events, the perfectly reestablished Ribault Club sparkles as the recreation center's most well known fascination.

Possessed by people for more than 5,000 years, Fort George Island was named after a stronghold worked in 1736 to protect the southern flank of Georgia when it was a province, and today observes guests going to the island to appreciate climbing, angling, drifting and mountain biking. The recreation center has a 4.4-mile long circle bike trail, and a 3-mile climbing/biking trail, a vessel slope and a flawless little shoreline on which to sunbathe and swim.
