Forest Hills neighborhood was made out of the farmland along Third Fork Creek in the 1920s by agent James O. Cob and Fuller Glass, organizers of the New Hope Realty Company. Its bending avenues, huge trees, and roomy parcels were assigned to engage the quantity of experts in Durham who needed to move out of the city and could manage the cost of this renowned new neighborhood. For the zone of the rivulet's surge plain, they laid out a nine-opening green, clubhouse, and pool. The current frontier restoration style clubhouse was work in 1928, as a swap for the first clubhouse that burned to the ground.
