About Forest Capital Museum State Park

Forest Capital State Museum is a Florida State Park which is found 1-mile 1.6 km south of Perry. The significance of ranger service in Florida goes back to the mid 1800s. The historical center praises the legacy of Florida's timberland industry. The core of the exhibition hall is committed to longleaf pines and the 5,000 items fabricated from them. The 50 or more year-old longleaf pines developing on the gallery grounds give a magnificent shade and make a pleasant strolling trail for guests.

After leaving the exhibition hall, guests make a stride back so as to investigate a credible nineteenth century Cracker estate, much like those scattered all through Florida when the new century rolled over. Officer’s lead interpretive visits amid unique occasions and upon ask. Three secured structures, that seat up to 60 individuals each, are accessible for lease.
