Fontenelle Park
About Fontenelle Park
Fontenelle Park is a public park situated in North Omaha, Nebraska.Land for the recreation center was procured in 1893 as per an amazing parks and streets pattern for Omaha arranged by Horace Cleveland in 1891. Due to lack of funds and criticism,it remained basically prairie grass for one more decade until the point that city development growing northwest from Downtown Omaha made interest for improvement.
Fontenelle Park has a well known tidal pond, a play area, and long, wandering ways work as stupendous approaches to work out. The fairway is one of the most established in the Omaha zone, sprawling over slopes and settling inside a wide, shallow valley. Various maple and pine trees line the edge of the course, and an expansive, duck-filled lake is in the focal point of the course.
