Folsom Lake

Folsom Lake is a supply on the American River in the Sierra Nevada lower regions of California. It is situated inside Placer, El Dorado, and Sacramento Counties. It is around 25 mi 40 km upper east of Sacramento. The lake contains 11,500 sections of land water. There are 75 miles of undulated shoreline encompassing the lake.

Folsom Lake and the encompassing Folsom Lake State Recreation Area is a standout amongst the most went by parks in the California Park framework. The biggest and most regular piece of the lake territory is the Peninsula which is roughly 1,465 sections of land.
