Figge Art Museum
About Figge Art Museum
The Figge Art Museum is a workmanship gallery in Davenport, Iowa. The Figge, as it is generally known, has a comprehensive gathering and fills in as the real craftsmanship exhibition hall for the eastern Iowa and western Illinois locale. The Figge works intimately with a few territorial colleges and universities as a craftsmanship asset and accumulations center point for ious advanced education programs.
The principal bits of its accumulations were given by Davenport people group pioneer Charles Ficke, a fruitful legal counselor and previous leader, who gathered craftsmanship from around the globe. Robert E. Harsche, at that point Director of the Art Institute of Chicago, detailed that as far as anyone is concerned no American open craftsmanship exhibition had "began with so extensive ious imperative works of art as a core."
