About Evans Creek Preserve
Evans Creek Preserve is a 179-section of land 72 ha normal territory that was given to the City of Sammamish, Washington, in 2000. The site incorporates bits of Evans Creek and other water highlights, wetlands, and glades, and additionally soak territory. The site gives environment to wild bears, beavers, falcons, deer, and songbirds. There are nurture trees on the site, which are tree stumps that give supplements to new trees.
Development of a 10-slow down parking garage, restrooms, trails, and different luxuries were finished in 2011 with an association between the City of Sammamish, the Washington Trails Association, organizations, and group associations. Development of extra trails happened from 2013 through 2016. The recreation center has two trailheads. The more seasoned trailhead is on 224th Ave NE. The more up to date trailhead is situated at 3650 Sahalee Way NE.
