Elk Rock Island

The most seasoned place in the Portland region isn't a house on Nob Hill, nor even the little Boring volcanoes, for example, Mount Tabor, that rule Southeast Portland - it is an island just at high water in the Willamette River, the 40-million-year-old uncovered fountain of Elk Rock Island.
