About El Presidio Park
El Presidio Park sits on an underground parking structure. The site has been being used since 1539, and the court's utilization as a recreation center dates from 1776. In 1810, a Spanish battalion of around 300 military utilized the recreation center. The Mormon Battalion initially set the American banner in the recreation center in 1846. The region wound up known as Barrio Libre Free Zone in 1862, and has experienced ious name changes. The recreation center's available advancement happened in 1970-71. This 2.75-section of land square contains veterans' commemorations, including a dedication divider and the Battle of the Bulge landmark. There is a little rose garden region devoted to John F. Kennedy. An expansive wellspring, different craftsmanship pieces including the Mormon Battalion and the El Soldado Cuera statue of a conquistador, and in addition a few bits of current workmanship embellish the recreation center.
