Durham Museum
About Durham Museum
The Durham museum is housed in Omaha's previous Union Station. The exhibition hall is devoted to saving and showing the historical backdrop of the United States' western locale. The historical center is housed in Omaha's previous Union Station. "The show is an ecological exhibition hall where the guests stroll through a replication of the first Byron Reed Library. The coins are shown in wonderful dull wooden cases that give the guests the sense they are a piece of the display. It gave me the inclination I was back in the 1880's sitting in Byron Reed's library looking at his coins with him. The show incorporates a plenitude of recorded data on Byron Reed and the circumstances. I know guests will be inspired with the nature of the show and the radiance of the currencies displayed." Donated to the City of Omaha upon Reed's demise, today the gathering is housed at the Durham Museum.
