About DuPont State Forest
It is situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains amongst Hendersonville and Bred, North Carolina. Its 10,400 sections of land of woodland highlight four noteworthy waterfalls on the Little River and a few on the Grassy Creek. The unique 7600 section of land backwoods was built up in 1996 through a liberal deal from the DuPont Corporation.
In 2000, the Forest was extended by two property increases, including the staggering 2200 section of land tract in the focal point of the Forest containing High Falls, Triple Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Companions of DuPont Forest is a volunteer administration association attempting to improve people in general utilize and delight in the DuPont State Recreational Forest while ensuring its common assets.
