Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate is Settled in the Oakland Hills, the Dunsmuir house was worked in 1878 by the well off coal nobleman Alexander Dunsmuir. Recorded on the National Register of Historic Places, this noteworthy point of interest was planned by San Francisco planner J. Eugene Freeman in the turn-of-the-century Neoclassical Revival style.
The chateau includes a Tiffany-style arch, 37 rooms, wood-framed party rooms, and 10 chimneys. The home is determined to 50 sections of land of yards and has a lake, gazebo, and delightful patio nurseries. It's available to general society for visits and is a well known setting for weddings.
