Dowling House

Worked in 1826 by John Dowling, Dowling House is Galena's most established house and a lovely case of mid nineteenth-century engineering and plan. Once the main exchanging post in the city, the house was worked of limestone and outfitted with crude living quarters to have the numerous hide dealers who frequented the territory amid this time.
