About Dort Mall
Dort Mall earlier Small Mall and Mid-America Plaza is a shopping center situated in Flint, Michigan. It was worked in two phases in 1964 and 1965, three years under the watchful eye of Courtland Center and five years previously Genesee Valley Center, making it the most established shopping center in Genesee County. It is claimed by the Perani family, who likewise possesses Perani's Hockey World, which alongside Bargain Hunterz now shut and City Market, is one of the shopping center's grapple occupants.
Its first stay inhabitant was a Yankee Stores later renamed Zody's store which was the main Dort Mall structure worked in 1964. The other grapple inhabitant was an A&P market which opened when whatever remains of the shopping center opened the next year. The two stores would shut in the mid-1970s. A General Cinema film theater was included 1968, was partitioned into two screens in 1975, and shut in 1983. The motion picture theater was changed over into an upkeep office and capacity territory, despite the fact that the theater's restrooms are still being used. Likewise in the 1970s, a discotheque was situated in the shopping center's storm cellar.
