Don Gibson Theater

This State Theater opened in 1939 and is adulated as a standout amongst the most wonderful structures in Shelby. It was a profoundly prevalent little motion picture theater, yet it experienced difficulties which occurred for some such film houses.

With the coming of shopping centers and satellite TV in individuals' lives, these auditoriums thought that it was extremely hard to survive, yet because of an enthusiastic volunteer gathering, called Destination Cleveland County, this old film house was breathed life into back. Known as the Don Gibson Theater, this 400 seat setting is currently predominantly a cozy show corridor.
