Dobby s Frontier Town
About Dobby s Frontier Town
Dobby's Frontier Town, 320 E. 25th St., is a noteworthy town with structures from the 1890s through Prohibition. Kenneth "Dobby" Lee deplored the rot of early boondocks structures, so he started pulling them to his Alliance home to spare them. His enthusiasm for safeguarding the past filled his work.
The structures incorporate a general store and meat advertise, a morgue, a log lodge worked by the territory's first dark homesteader, an early service station, an imitation 1880s mail station, a cantina, a 1889 one-room school and a shoemaker's shop. Dobby's 26 structures breath life into the American outskirts for guests from around the globe.
