Discovery Center

The Discovery Center of Springfield is a non-benefit science focus situated in Springfield, Missouri. Its main goal is to motivate long lasting learning and enable individuals to build up a more noteworthy gratefulness for our reality and our place in it. The historical center is an intelligent gallery outfitted with several hands-on displays to urge guests to investigate and learn through play. In that capacity, it is a standout amongst the most child benevolent galleries in the state.

In 1991, a gathering of group volunteers considered setting up a focal point of figuring out how to draw in and bring issues to light on different instructive subjects among people in general. Be that as it may, it was just a year later that they figured out how to buy three exhibition hall structures in downtown Springfield. Throughout the years, the historical center slowly extended its activities, and today, it brags 50,000 square feet of intelligent show space. In 2006, its most recent expansion got a LEED-gold confirmation, making it one of the greenest structures in the state.
