About De Saisset Museum
The De Saisset Museum is situated on the grounds of Santa Clara University, adjoining Mission Santa Clara. Established in 1955, the historical center started as a craftsmanship exhibition appearing around one hundred works by the painter Ernest De Saisset. The gallery now has a double spotlight on craftsmanship and history, and has an order for training through differing and open displays.
The De Saisset Museum focuses on craftsmanship from the San Francisco Bay Area and the Santa Clara Valley, yet additionally houses European and American works of art from the Renaissance forward. The verifiable piece of the historical center has a magnificent gathering of Mission-period ceremonial vestments and a display on California history.
