Davis Park

Davis Park is neighboring Prather Park and is situated at 4500 Drexel Avenue. This picturesque stop twists along Hackberry Creek and is home to the Highland Park Swimming Pool. There is an extraordinary youngsters' play area and a tennis court. There are ious seats and ways along the spring for a comfortable walk. Davis Park, situated at 4519 Drane Drive, is named to pay tribute to Mayor W. Richard "Dick'' Davis. Davis is a long lasting occupant of University Park, moved on from Highland Park High School, Southern Methodist University and the SMU Dedman School of Law. He filled in as an individual from the University Park Master Plan Committee and the Planning and Zoning Commission. A City Council part from 1998 to 2004, Davis was chosen leader in 2010 and 2012.
