Dahlia Hill is not at all like some other garden. 3,000 dahlias are planted yearly on the eight-level terraced slope. Displaying more than 250 marked assortments along the rock ways, there are cases of every one of the 19 dahlia petal composes. The dahlias are in blossom from August through October.
The garden is allowed to see from sunrise to nightfall and is kept up completely by volunteers. Additional tubers from Dahlia Hill are sold each spring on the last two Saturdays in May. A yearly festival of the pre-winter equinox is held every September. Dahlia Hill likewise has design on see year-round. Four "Periods of Life" figures, composed by Dahlia Hill author Charles Breed, are organized alongside the pathways. They are representative dahlias with human like attributes.
At the highest point of Dahlia Hill is the Equiline Museum, with craftsmanship by Charles Breed, known broadly for his inventive work utilizing plastic as a workmanship medium. Voyages through the historical center are accessible by arrangement.
