Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
About Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
The recreation center is in a region known as the Waterfront Arts District. Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is a 8-section of land 32,400 m2 open stop situated along the Hillsborough waterway in downtown Tampa, Florida that opened in its momentum setup in 2010. The recreation center disregards the University of Tampa's Plant Hall, which is specifically over the waterway.
It is neighboring the Tampa Riverwalk, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Tampa Museum of Art, Glazer Children's Museum, and Rivergate Tower. Quite a bit of Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park comprises of an open verdant garden that slants tenderly towards the waterway in a progression of wide patios. Around this greenspace are a few wellsprings, a substantial play area, an open vessel dock, a pooch stop, a few shaded structures, an amphitheater, different models, a garden zone composed by Dan Kiley, and a little concession stand with restrooms.
