About Conway Scenic Railroad
The Conway Scenic Railroad is a legacy railroad, possessed and worked by Profile Mountain Holdings Corp. Conway Scenic Railroad was established by nearby specialists Bill Levy and Carroll Reed and a Boston and Maine Railroader named Dwight Smith. They acquired the relinquished station and rail line from Conway to Intervale 7 miles from the Boston and Maine. The Mountain Division was deserted, and for a long time Conway Scenic was protected without an association with the more extensive United States rail organize. The railroad works outings of shifting span under two flags which is the "Valley Train" which runs either south to Conway and the "Notch Train" covering the line through Crawford Notch. Valley train operates from April to December. Notch train operates from June to October.
