Conrad N. Hilton Center
About Conrad N. Hilton Center
Conrad Hilton purchased his first inn, the 40-room Mobley Hotel in Cisco,Texas, in 1919, when a bank buy failed to work out. The lodging did such energetic business that rooms changed hands as much as three times each day, and the lounge area was changed over into extra rooms to take care of the demand.
He went ahead to purchase and assemble inns all through Texas, including the skyscraper Dallas Hilton, opened in 1925, the Abilene Hilton in 1927, Waco Hilton in 1928, and El Paso Hilton in 1930. The Conrad Hilton Center is presently exceptionally multifaceted. For example, there are five divisions in the exhibition hall alone, including The Innkeeper Gallery, The Cisco Museum, The Walls of Fame, The Cisco Pictorial and The Santa Claus Bank Robbery.
