About Columbia Memorial Space Center
It is a science exhibition hall claimed and worked by the City of Downey, California. Situated on 12400 Columbia Way in Downey, it is available to the overall population as involved space exhibition hall and activity center in the Los Angeles region.
The center's main goal is to "light individuals' enthusiasm in science, innovation, designing, and space while regarding Downey's aviation history." The site of the historical center is the previous Boeing/Rockwell/North American plant where the greater part of the Apollo Command/Service Modules were assembled and the Space Shuttle was considered. In 1999, when the Downey Plant shut, the City of Downey started a redevelopment exertion, including an instructive segment.
