Chelsea

Chelsea is a notable home situated in Delaware City, New Castle County, Delaware. It was worked in 1848 by Thomas Clark, and is a three-story, three-cove square block hinder with a low, level, hipped rooftop surmounted by a dowager's walk. It is in a local iety of the Italianate/Greek Revival style.

The Chelsea blacksmith shop was the longest continually used blacksmith shop in Delaware County and was reputed to be one of the oldest in the County. It has a low, one-story wing at the east side, a wide, one-story glass-encased entryway patio and a substantial, two-story expansion to the back of the house.
