Cesar Chavez Park
About Cesar Chavez Park
César Chávez Park is a land city stop of Berkeley, California. The recreation center's east position in San Francisco Bay gives all encompassing perspectives of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marin Headlands, and the east cove slopes. The recreation center's landscape is portrayed by extremely open green slopes that have turned out to be well known for kite flying. Paved ways run the edge and all through the recreation center where eating areas and grill flame broils are accessible to the public.
The park started as a landfill going back to 1957, when embankments were developed to contain civil waste. In 1969, the city received the Marina Master Plan, which put aside the landfill zone for unstructured entertainment.
