Centennial Lighthouse
About Centennial Lighthouse
A signal lights up a sunset. Raising money for the beacon started in 2005 as a joint venture of the City of Elk City and Elk City Chamber of Commerce. The Elk City Centennial Lighthouse stands 42 feet tall. The structure is made of stucco over steel, and was composed by nearby draftsman Tommy Shaw.
The Coast Guard keeps up helps to route on the Arkansas River conduit in the eastern piece of Oklahoma, however those guides don't qualify as beacons. This page incorporates one private beacon found on an Oklahoma lake. The U.S. territory of Oklahoma is in the south focal piece of the nation north of Texas.
