Cathedral of Saint Helena
About Cathedral of Saint Helena
The Cathedral of Saint Helena is the house of prayer of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena, Montana. The Cathedral of St. Helena was developed when the new century rolled over amid the episcopate of Bishop John Carroll. It is a remarkable case of Geometric Gothic design, designed after the Votive Church of the Sacred Heart in Vienna, Austria. Recolored glass windows, white marble holy places, statues cut of the purest Carrara marble, and certifiable gold leaf improves the asylum. The seats and woodwork are altogether done close by cut oak. The eminent lighting installations are of hand-manufactured bronze with an exceptional veneer wrap up. Outside, superb twin towers rise 230 feet over the road.
