About Carew Tower
Carew Tower is the second tallest working in Cincinnati, Ohio. Finished in 1930, it stands 49 stories tall in the core of downtown, disregarding the Ohio River waterfront, and is a National Historic Landmark. It contains the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza once in the past the Omni Netherland Plaza. The inn is depicted as "one of the world's finest cases of French Art Deco design" and was utilized as the model for the Empire State Building in New York City.
The building was overshadowed by the Great American Insurance Building at Queen City Square on July 13, 2010, rising 86 feet 26 m higher than the Carew Tower. Today the building is home to a blended horde of inhabitants, including a shopping center, the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, and workplaces. Guests can pay $2 each to get to the perception deck, which is situated on the 49th floor. On a sunny morning, guests can see for miles every which way, and three states Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.
