Campus Martius Park
About Campus Martius Park
Campus Martius Park is a re-built up stop in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. After the fire of 1805, Campus Martius was the point of convergence of Judge Augustus Woodward's intends to modify the city. The stop is situated at the crossing point of Woodward Avenue and Michigan Avenue, four pieces south of Grand Circus Park. The first stop secured a few sections of land and was a noteworthy get-together territory for residents. The recreation center was lost in the 1900s as the city's downtown was reconfigured to suit expanded vehicular movement. Hart Plaza, along the riverfront, was intended to supplant Campus Martius as a state of significance. Be that as it may, as Hart Plaza is a principally hard-surfaced territory, numerous occupants came to mourn the absence of genuine stop space in the city's downtown region.
