The Calaveras County Museum Complex incorporates the notable courthouse, imprison yard and Hall of Records. It incorporates the upstairs segment of the Odd Fellows and Masonic Hall worked in 1856. The gallery contains shows dating to the Gold Rush period including data on the renowned fugitive, Black Bart, the "Refined man Bandit" who was imprisoned and attempted here when he was at last caught in 1888.
Their exceptional Mi Wok Indian show incorporates antiques, photographs and statements uncovering the old Mi Wok lifestyle. Researching your family's history in Calaveras County?
