Boney Peak
About Boney Peak
Boney Peak, otherwise called Mt. Boney, is a low, rough mountain guarding the northern end of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The pinnacle is a piece of Boney Mountain, a little level that contains the four most elevated crests in the Santa Monica waterfront run, including Sandstone Peak.
The level has different andesite breccia outcroppings and arrangements that give average bouldering openings. At boney peak Top rope and single pitch courses running from 5.4 to no less than 5.10a can be found along different shake faces east of the crest close to the conjunction of Yerba Buena Road and the Sandstone Peak trailhead. Boney pinnacle is open through the western edge of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, and Rancho Sierra Vista in Newbury Park.
