About Blakeley
Blakeley is in Baldwin County, Alabama, along the Tensaw River north of Spanish Fort, United States. Amid the stature of its reality, Blakeley was a flourishing town which thrived as a contender to its western neighbor, Mobile. From 1810, Blakeley was the province situate for Baldwin County until 1868, when the district government was moved south to Daphne.
It was the area of a noteworthy fortress amid the Civil War. In April 1865 the last clashes of the Civil War was battled here, as Union troopers overran Confederates. The town is in an Alabama notable state stop known as Historic Blakeley State Park, north of Spanish Fort.
