About Big Bone Lick State Park
Huge Bone Lick State Park is situated at Big Bone in Boone County, Kentucky. The name of the recreation center originates from the Pleistocene megafauna fossils found there. Mammoths are accepted to have been attracted to this area by a salt lick kept around sulfur springs.
