Beth Ahabah Museum & Archives
About Beth Ahabah Museum & Archives
The Beth Ahabah Museum and Archives is Richmond's historical center of Jewish history, workmanship and culture. Situated in the noteworthy Fan District, the Museum and Archives is housed in a mid twentieth century push house nearby the 1904 asylum of Congregation Beth Ahabah. Beth Ahabah House of Love is the successor to Kahal Kadosh K.K. Beth Shalome, the 6th Jewish assemblage in the nation. The Museum and Archives houses an important accumulation of reports, representations, photos, works of art and items that gives a window to the lives, cherishes, commitments, thrashings and triumphs of Jewish Richmonders since the times of the American Revolution.
