Besh Ba Gowah
About Besh Ba Gowah
One mile southwest of the City of Globe, Arizona, stand the remnants of the antiquated Salado individuals who possessed the site about 800 years prior. This antiquated town is referred to today as Besh Ba Gowah. The term was initially given by the Apaches to the early settlement of Globe. Generally deciphered, the term signifies "place of metal."
The mostly reestablished ruins, alongside the contiguous historical center give an entrancing look at the way of life of the general population who possessed this area more than two centuries previously Columbus found the "New World." Besh Ba Gowah offers guests an opportunity to investigate the remains, a gallery which houses a substantial accumulation of Salado ceramics and ancient rarities, greenhouses, and a blessing shop.
