About Bechtler Museum of Modern Art
The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, situated inside the Levine Center for the Arts, is committed to current workmanship. Housed in a delightful 36,500-square-foot space outlined by Mario Botta, the historical center highlights a gathering of in excess of 1,400 works of art. Famous among locals and visitors the downtown historical center is named after the group of Andreas Bechtler, who amassed the accumulation of works by renowned specialists, for example, Léger, Matisse, Degas, Warhol, Mirò, Picasso, and Le Corbusier. Guests are invited to the historical center by the dazzling, 17-foot Firebird Le Grand Oiseau de Feu sur l'Arche by craftsman Niki de Saint Phalle, made of more than seven thousand mirror mosaics.
