About Beall Woods State Park
The Beall Woods state park is an old-development timberland assigned as a Natural Area by the province of Illinois. The trees inside the timberland comprise overwhelmingly of hardwoods of the previous Eastern Woodlands biological community. Segments of Beall Woods State Park have been assigned a National Natural Landmark as the Forest of the Wabash. The closest towns with any sizable business foundation, including lodgings and markets, are Grayville and Mount Carmel. Beall Woods State Park and Nature Preserve contains more than 300 sections of land of wonderful old-development backwoods along the Wabash River. The recreation center likewise has a pleasant guest focus with shows on the recreation center's normal history. Beall Woods is a great stop to walk trails, to show kids about nature/trees/plants/creatures, and to play.
