Beacon Hill

Beacon Hill is well known among locals and visitors, there was a gathering of Buddhists in 1986, at Southern California tried to hone in the method for Venerable Ajaan Mun, the father of the present Theravada Kammatthana Forest Tradition in Thailand. They started arrangement to manufacture Wat Bhuridattavanaram, the Buddhist Temple of America, to be named after Venerable Ajaan Mun.

Today, the Buddhist Temple of America lives as indicated by those Vinaya rules put forward by the Buddha and as per those laws built up by the legislature of the United States. The sanctuary fills in as both a place for bhikkhus Buddhist priests to prepare and hone and as a place for laypeople to study and practice in all parts of the Dhamma– the lessons of the Buddha.
