About Bartlett Museum
It is a nonprofit museum located at 270 Main Street, Amesbury, Massachusetts. It is named after Josiah Bartlett, who was born in Amesbury and later signed the United States Declaration of Independence. It is a popular museum in this city.
It is a storehouse for artifacts relating to Amesbury, Massachusetts and the immediate surrounding area. Artifacts date from prehistory to the present.
Exhibits include a timeline of events in the history of Amesbury, replicas of a colonial kitchen and a Victorian parlor; a natural history room; a schoolroom; a major exhibit, which changes periodically; and a carriage house.
