Bainbridge Island
About Bainbridge Island
Bainbridge Island is a little island group found only west over the narrows from Seattle. Travelers can get to Bainbridge Island either by ship by walking or with an auto, or via auto by means of a broadened course driving through Tacoma. A short separation from where the ship docks, the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum is housed in a 1908 school building. The historical center contains antiquities, photos, and data on the nearby history. Other island attractions feature nature, for example, the exquisite grounds of Bloedel Reserve and the shoreline of Fort Ward State Park. The island is currently home to seven craftsman wineries, a bottling works and a natural refinery.
