Audubon Acres and Maclellan Island are Chattanooga's most established untamed life asylums. The 130 section of land Elise Chapin Wildlife Sanctuary at Audubon Acres is the home office of the Chattanooga Audubon Society and incorporates a Visitors Center.
There are in excess of four miles of strolling and climbing trails and the asylum is home to numerous sorts of plants and creatures. Maclellan Island, otherwise called Maclellan Sanctuary and authoritatively known as Audubon Island, is a natural life asylum made up of 18.8 sections of land on an island amidst the Tennessee River. There are one and a half miles of trails and access to the island is by water as it were.
