American Lake

American Lake is found only south of Tacoma in the group of Lakewood. It is a prevalent goal for angling; the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife keeps it loaded with rainbow trout and kokanee, and there are characteristic populaces of yellow roost, shake bass, largemouth bass, beach front ferocious, and dark colored bullhead catfish.

The Department of Fish and Wildlife has a two-path solid pontoon dispatch accessible. Two open stops on the lakeshore have shorelines that draw in swimmers, sunbathers, picnickers, and angling devotees; shore angling accessible in the two parks, there is exquisite clean water in which to swim, and seats, outdoor tables, and restrooms are accessible. Deer are regularly spotted, and bald eagles plunge into the lake looking for kokanee.
