About Allen Centennial Gardens
The Allen Centennial Garden is a free open garden on the grounds of the University of Wisconsin– Madison. The grounds include the Agricultural Dean's House, the home of the initial four senior members of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.The Queen Anne house disregarding the garden was intended for William Arnon Henry, the main dignitary of the University of Wisconsin– Madison College of Agriculture.
When he went to the college, he obtained a little casing ranch house on grounds in a segment where the college cultivate worker lived. In 1979, the classroom cultivates outside the Plant Sciences Building were crushed to account for an expansion. In the mid 1980s, the college chose to move these patio nurseries to the previous senior member's home. Gifts from college blessings and understudy bunches accommodated introductory arranging and plan.
